my alarm did not ring — what now?

check (1) that notifications for wakejoy are allowed in iOS Settings → Notifications → wakejoy, with Sounds and Time Sensitive both enabled; (2) that the ringer volume is up — wakejoy uses the system ringer, not the media volume; (3) that Focus or Do-Not-Disturb is not suppressing Time-Sensitive notifications. if the issue repeats, email us with your iOS version, device model, and the approximate time it happened.

how do I disable the night-before shield?

open wakejoy → schedule screen → tap the shielded-apps selector and remove all apps; or revoke Screen Time authorization at iOS Settings → Screen Time → wakejoy. the alarm continues to work regardless of whether the shield is on.

refunds

refunds are handled by Apple via your App Store purchase history. Apple's refund portal: reportaproblem.apple.com. we cannot issue refunds ourselves.

restoring purchases on a new device

in wakejoy tap "restore purchases" from the paywall screen. your subscription is tied to your Apple ID, not the device.
